We are looking for Business Development Lead for our marketplace for the Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure ecosystem. Permanent ® is an online B2B marketplace for the EV charging infrastructure (EVCI) ecosystem. ® enables owners of parking spaces and commercial property to be matched with Charging Point Operators (CPO), Fleet Operators and EV infrastructure investors with available sites, products and service providers in the EV charging infrastructure ecosystem. ® facilitates the matching of locations, products and services amongst stakeholders in the EV charging infrastructure ecosystem. It is a listing and demand platform for potential and existing EV charging sites, products and services, facilitates the trading of EV charging sites and EV charging capacity and provides supply and demand insights for the EV charging infrastructure ecosystem.

Vahanomy is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Lead for our online marketplace for the electric vehicle charging infrastructure ecosystem, This role is a mix of relationship building, sales, creative problem solving, and operational execution to launch, drive and grow to enable Vahanomy to fulfil its potential on a global scale.

You will work alongside our co-founders and will be involved in the launch, business generation, and partnership contract discussions to integrations, solution design and implementations.  So being comfortable as an individual contributor, as well as part of a  diverse and geographically spread out team, is essential. Collaboration is key, so having experience working with multi-functional teams and building strong external and internal relationships is advantageous for this role.

What will you be doing?

  • Spot opportunities for us to collaborate with potential clients, work with them to position as the platform to promote their needs and services in the EV infrastructure ecosystem and work with new and existing clients via regular catch-ups, account mapping and updating on current commercial activities.

  • Work with the commercial team to ensure any leads have the relevant information to progress positively.

  • Produce reporting and reviews of all strategic partners to measure the success, using our CRM to gather all the relevant data.

  • Create promotional content for social media and offline which will promote new and existing partnerships

  • Be a key point of contact between Vahanomy and development teams.

  • Lead on sales calls and strategic partnership development.

  • Work with the team to get customers up and running.

  • Complete administrative tasks such as reporting, pipeline management and any other related KPIs.

  • Be an expert in maximising the delivery of to partner clients and end users

  • Depending on the right candidate, we are offering a salary plus commission which will be discussed at the interview. Please mention your salary expectations in your cover letter.
